Derek,
Pierre-Yves Gosset's site with the player is no longer available. I'll make the code I have available for download soon.

True Pyg player website is no longer there. But if you look at he source of THIS page you'll notice data="assets/flash/pyg_player.swf" which is a bit of a hint where you might find a working copy ...

... or try your browser cache.

Graham, the thing is that the MODx CMS I'm running the site on rewrites the paths, so things most often are not where they seem to be.

Also, for this same reason (url rewrites) I give relative paths in the code chunks in the tutorials as examples. And since most people would just like to copy-paste the code, it's much easier to give them sample code with relative paths.

Thanks for this, though. I should probably rework the sample codes in the tutorials where I give sample paths to not include my path but write something like /folder/file.swf

Site not working

The site on the first flash player doesn't work, and when debugging the code i found the following URL

assets/flash/pyg_player.swf

which means relative to this document's URL, the flash player should be located at:

http://www.ewbooks.info/hotpot/tutorials/hotpotatoes-tutorials/assets/flash/pyg_player.swf

but there is nothing there either.
